ES300 CERTIFIED CNA INSTRUCTOR/EXAMINER
Registered nurses with at least two years of nursing experience and at least one year of long term care experience in the last five years and permission from the Department of Health and Senior Services may enroll in ES300. This course is designed to train the trainers to teach and examine trainees in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course. This course qualifies registered nurses to instruct classes for CNAs and to administer the state certification examination.
ES310 CERTIFIED CMT INSTRUCTOR/EXAMINER
Registered nurses with at least two years of nursing experience and at least one year of long term care experience in the last five years and permission from the Department of Health and Senior Services may enroll in ES310. This course is designed to train the trainers to teach and examine traineed in the Certified Medication TEchnician (CMT) course.
ES330 CERTIFIED CMA INSTRUCTOR/EXAMINER
Registered nurses with at least two years of nursing experience and at least one year of long term care experience in the last five years and permission from the Department of Health and Senior Services may enroll in ES330. This course is designed to train the trainers to teach and examine trainees in the Level 1 Certified Medication Aide (CMA) course.
ES340 CERTIFIED INSULIN ADMINISTRATOR INSTRUCTOR/EXAMINER
Registered nurses with at least two years of nursing experience and at least one year of long term care experience in the last five years and permission from the Department of Health and Senior Services may enroll in ES340. This course is designed to train the trainers to teach and examine trainees in the Certified Insulin Administrator course.
ES360 CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
This class is designed to prepare registered and licensed nurses to supervise nurse assistant students during their state required clinical experience. The clinical experience is mandated by the Department of Health and Senior Services to prepare student trainees to provide quality care in long term care facilities.
